What a wonderful place. Small and cozy with fabulously delicious food!! 10 ☆'s !!!
First visit today and it won't be my last! Had the roux gumbo, and it was so delicious that I got a quart to go so I could enjoy it again at home. Service was outstanding. I live almost an hour away, but that won't keep me from coming back very soon. A true gem.
Outstanding food service and coffee! You won't find a better crafted meal around.
Food here is great and homemade. Sadly it'll cost you nearly $50 for two people to eat(not including a tip), where as everywhere else in town including dinner diners are cheaper by about $15 per two people.
This place is great. It is quite the hole in the wall but the food is amazing!
Consistent, service impeccable, restaurant spotless, food just freaking good
Great food! Not like every other place and that's a good thing. Love their soups!
This place was absolutely amazing. Food was great and the waitress was a total sweetheart.
Best fried chicken sandwich I've had yet. Amazing place to eat!! Ten stars!
Super friendly Staff. Very clean. Prices are reasonable. Portions are generous. A few items that you don't typically find on a normal menu. They use local ingredients as far as I could tellEverything was fresh. Great atmosphere. Great little hole in the wall.
Really enjoyed our breakfast. Innovative specials were delicious!
My family and I went here today and had the most delicious breakfast! The atmosphere and service was superb. The pride they have for the patrons’ overall experience is evident in all they do. I highly recommend this restaurant. We will definitely be back! I wish I could give 10 stars!
What a gem! Amazing french-inspired bistro food in Athol. The specials are always fantastic and the staff is always welcoming. A bit pricier than other local spots but the quality is worlds above the rest.
Good lunch spot. Seems to be meeting place for the locals. There was no fly in my soup though.
What a cool spot. My breakfast was amazing and service was really good.
So my fiance and I stopped in here randomly today. O.M.G. wow, I'm so happy we found this place. It's a cozy little place. The people are very friendly and the atmosphere is great.I got steak and eggs special and she got western omelette with home fries. And coffees to drink. The coffee is very good, Dean's Beans. The food was amazing in every way. The presentation is of a high end restaurant and only beaten by the taste. Truly amazed at this find and most definitely will be back.I can't recommend this place enough. If you are in the area or are willing to travel I suggest putting this on your list.
Great food with big city flavor!
Fresh and tasty. The cranberry, ACV, mustard mostado on my turkey was heavenly. Was hoping to have a "flight" of soups like we see at breweries but with only 3 soups it was hard to even make our own.A small disappointment over all.
Saying this place is good would be an understatement, this place is FANTASTIC! They always have fresh, new and trendy foods. The waitstaff is very attentive and friendly, especially Angela. The chef is always coming up with new specials, it is always a surprise hearing what they have that day. When we want to go to breakfast, it isn't even a question where we are going. Try Soup on The Fly you won't be disappointed!
I will forever be a fan! This place has a unique menu and lovely atmosphere. The staff are so friendly. Very clean. Everything is super fresh.
The food never disappoints. The roux with eggs was so flavorful and every bite had a bit of meat or vegetable.
This is a favorite from young to old in our family. I go here whenever I get the chance and re-route travel plans just to visit this gem. The food is beyond delicious!!!
Easily one of the greatest finds hidden in the valley. I would suggest for breakfast the Gumbo and eggs.
We have been following this place on Facebook. Finally got to go Had a very delicious breakfast. Service was excellent and food was hot and bountiful. I would recommend going. We are going to go back for lunch, that menu looked wonderful.
The people are friendly and the food was good but it was a limited menu... Was really looking forward to steak and eggs but it was not on the menu... Minor gripe, as what I ordered was good. Would recommend.
Did not enjoy the atmosphere, music, or food. But, if you're into getting food drowned in butter to the point where your toast is limp and eggs are clammy, this is the place for you.
A great place to soak in a little Athol pre-American Revolution history about a mile away, them come for great eats, with a regular changing menu of custom, gourmet soups and other offerings. Counter service or about 7 tables in this cozy eatery. A must stop if you are in the area!
Excellent food, attentive and friendly wait-staff. BEST crab cakes ever! Specials are fabulous and always a surprise. Chef Rob could easily compete with top Boston chefs; food is an art-form at Soup on the Fly! Definitely recommend as a lunch/brunch stop for those visiting the Quabbin area.
Very interesting menu. Creative.
Food was great pricey but good
Always something different. Never a bad meal. So lucky to have this place in town.
The food was wonderful. My daughter recommended this place. It's a little cozy restaurant. And the portion are pretty big. It can be litte pricey for breakfast. But this chefs out does himself with his amazing culinary skills.
Amazing food! Service was wonderful.
Delicious food and its so nice to finally have a place in town that serves vegan options. Fresh, great tasting and quality food thats well worth the price. Arguably the best quality food around.
Went there for breakfast overall it was good, they keep the plates hot maybe a tad pricey, but overall it was good
Absolutely fantastic establishment. The restaurant was small and cozy, but the food blew me away. I ordered 4 sliders, each with a different topic. Every burger was different but was packed full of flavor. The staff is friendly and very nice. You'll definitely see me there again
Great place. Inventive menu. Superior service. Reasonable cost. I like the Cajun feel.
This is not merely a breakfast & lunch place. It's fantastic, with a chef who knows how to cook. For example: french toast made with baguette, topped with brandied cherries & creme fraiche. So delicious. Attention to detail. All soups homemade - he even makes his own chicken stock.
Very good just a bit pricey. Omelet was very good, homemade white bread toast as well. Home fries were a bit under cooked but the flavor was good.
Deliciously prepared creative food. My only complaint is the manner in which one pays the bill. I was in a deep conversation and the wait staff brought the bill - which is electronic, on the square. She set it down in front of me and stood there pushing the screen closer and closer and then put it in my face so I could run my card, sign and tip her while she watched and waited. Kinda rude and tacky. Sorry.
Great gumbo. Wonderful sandwiches. Get there as they open as there are a limited number of tables. There is counter service available as well.
Awesome! My first time there and both the service and the food were great! Don't be fooled by the outside!
Delicious hand made food. Fresh vegetables and great choices. Also ver friendly and quick service.
My friend brought me here for breakfast and I was shocked to find this gem in an area otherwise lacking in good dining options. They have a small focused menu of Southern Louisiana specialities. I got the gumbo with over easy eggs and toast from Rose 32 and Dean's Beans coffee. I don't live in town so I can't go here as often as I wish I could, but when I'm in the area I make point to go. I suggest you do as well.
Newly working in this area on the road and the internet reviews looked good. It was better than that! Great food nice atmosphere and very very clean. Will be eating lunch here a lot in the future
Most unexpected and wonderful restaurant. Definitely a must if are in the area!
Excellent fresh food but pretty pricey. Very small restaurant but quaint and friendly
Best gumbo in MA. Great little local spot, but worth the drive even if you are a bith farther away.
It was Ok. Very pricey for what you get. Loved the potato croquettes. Small and dated.
Excellent food, well worth the price
